Error in individual product growth

HI! Our experts,

Please look at the data loaded of which the dimension being the Class_code & two expressions such as Current Year & Last Year figures. Once the growth rate was calculated in the normal calculation method as I have done, it is alright except classes M3 & MC which should always be the positive growth but produce the negative growth. Hence please write an expression for me to overcome this. Also the total growth also needs to be correct which needs to be positive figure as shown below.

Also please make sure the expression proposed to be able to apply as it is. I mean I do not require to do this in the script & so on. Is there a expression available just to calculate the growth which produce correct out put!

Hi Dhamsiri,

on the M3 and MC CLASS_CODE, you have a minus sign, so you want to load the data with the minus signs on the lines and ignore them ?

Can you give more explanations please ?

Fabs(Sum(CY-LY)/LY)

or

Sum(CY - fabs(LY))/fabs(LY)
