Exactly align free_text_boxes?

Hi,

when I have several free_text_ boxes in a combochart (to enhance or replace the legend, as it is) - how can I get those exactly aligned?

Does anyone have any hints there? Since I can use only the mouse, this seems very tricky to me.

Hi DataNibbler -

The only way I've found is to zoom the view to 400%. It's still difficult to be exact, but it's a lot easier than at 100%.

are they text objects on top of the chart or text in chart objects from the presentation tab?

Max zoom is good. I like to add borders and use the nudge abilities (Ctl-Left, Ctl-Up, et al). When the borders are aligned to where I want I turn them off.

Can you not use rigth-click 'align left' etc?

that one will align the text INSIDE those boxes, but not the box in the chart 😉

I know I can use those with regular text boxes and all kinds of objects, but not with free_text_boxes that form part of a chart afaIk?

Zoom is a good idea, though.

They are text_in_chart objects from the presentation tab of the chart.
