Executing Macro in qlikview

Hi,

Have an annoying problem in Qlikview. I am not able to execute any Macro. when i press a button that is set to execute a Macro it will show the Macro Code, not execute the macro.

I have done the following to try to solve this particular problem:

     *Checked security settings for macro

     *Checked settings in macro script

     *Checked settings in Sheet/User/Document properties.

     *Reïnstall Qlikview completely.

Do you have any suggestions as to what it could be?

I suppose you have tried to run a macro from different qvws.

Which version do you have? what about the OS? only qlik is affected?

could you try with another pc?

Yes I have tested macro's form different QVW's, my colleague is able to execute the macro's. So they work.

Version: 11.20.12235.0 SR5 64bit

OS: Win 8.1

I am able to execute Macro's in excel.

There might be some mismatches in naming conventions...

Please check the settings in Macro window...

If possible, can you please upload the doc..?

Of course, I have to mention probably. I do not have Excel on my computer, i use Open Office.

this is just a sample for Macro which exports to Excel, QLikview normally exports it directly using the XL button to Open Office.

Strange i tested this macro(see attachment) and this seems to be working

Pls change the macro settings...

Current Local Security  --> Allow System access

I have executed successfully after doing the changes.

Can you give us your macrocode?

It will be easier to find the problem then.
