I have this problem, I have a table where I put negative value formatting like this:
that is, it displays me the value with a negative sign if it is positive
When i export the table in excel, i see that field positive ... and instead i would like to see it negative like in the qlik view, is it possible?
Excel (positive):
QlikView (negative):
How's output of negative value in excel??
with - in front of
Use num() in your expression and put back to expression default.
it is not an expression, it is not a chart, it is a table object, so I have only the name of the column
How does the values look like if you export the table into a csv-file and opening them with an editor like notepad++ ? If the brackets are there to show that's a negative value it means that Excel applies there own magic to interpret the content - in this case there won't be much possibilities to change the behaviour else it would be better to adjust the logic how negative values are shown.

No, in the csv the values are always positive, so it is the export side from Qlik that does not take the negative value
What happens if you don't adjust the object-settings from the table-box else adjusting the number-format from this field within the document-settings?

how can i change it there? I have to change the sign of this field only under certain conditions, i.e. inside a table that is displayed on a choice, and display it in the negative
A conditional adjustment isn't possible in this way but you may load this field twice - one for the normal displaying and the another for those special export-jobs.
