Export to excel changes date to text

Hello Experts,

I am using QlikView version 12 SR1. I am still having trouble when you choose export to excel, it changes date to text.

I know the work around to right click and copy full table to clip board and paste to excel sheet. But what about on the access point.

Any help is appreciated. Have a good one!

Hi,

I have the same problem. I am using QV 12.10 SR 6.

We use a pivot table which provides data for other excel sheets. If I use the workaround my formulas will no longer work because you get one big column:

So A2 has the date but A3 - A7 don't .. same with A9-A22.

Any ideas on that?

In QV 11 SR2 there was a similar problem which was mentioned to be a bug: Export to excel changes the date to text format

So is this a bug with QV 12 / 12.10?
