Expression for displaying the back ground color

Hi,

I need a small help regarding display of colors

I have R,G,B Values for Marketing Medium and Restrictions for Corresponding marketing medium

Can you help me displaying the background color of the restrictions accordingly.

for ex:

if the restriction is high - green color

if the restriction is med- yellow

if the restriction is low- red .

Pls. help me!!

Hi,

I don't get what exactly your question is. But, let's say, if it is a straight table, and you would like to set the background color of the expression column, then pls. set the background color property to:

=(if restriction='high', Green(),

     if(restriction='med', Yellow(),    

          if (restriction='low', Red())

     )

)

If this is not what you are looking for, pls. provide a qlikview file as an example.

Hi Surendra,
Check the attached file.
In the "Dimensions" tab of the chart properties, expand the "+" sign for "Restriction" and double-click on BackgroundColor:
=RGB(Rvalue, Gvalue, Bvalue)
You can do the same in the "Expressions" tab.
Hope that's what you wanted.
