Hi Friends,

In my qlikview Doc. relating to insurance policy data I have the following Pivot Table and the expected Pivot table. In this case when a policy is Renewed after paying a claim I want to show it under  Claims Paid & Renewed  but here it is shown under Claims not Paid & Renewed  Pls help me to get it corrected. I have attached my sample QV doc as well.

Can you clarify your acronyms?

I can see Net Renewed and Not Renewed columns, but which columns report whether the policy has been paid?

Also, is it OK that Not Renewed for the period 2016-2017 is a negative value?

If Sum(CNOS) column shows a positive value then the  Policy is paid.  There can not be negative value in not renewed column

In this case, perhaps you should validate your pre-calculations.

When the policy data is expanded,

  • the 2015-2016 period is paid and not renewed,
  • the 2016-2017 period is not paid, 2 policies are renewed. The NOT renewed holds an illegal (-ve) value.

Either way, to achieve the targeted end, you could try something like the last 2 columns here:
