Failed to open a Qvw file, file corrupted 21

Hi All,

I am unable to open the qvw files from other servers, when i am trying to open the files it throws an error as "Failed to open the document, File corrupted 21".Same error continues for all the reports.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Is the file itself intact? Can you open the file with the client?

If yes, you may try to delete (or better rename ) the .shared file

Actually the file is opening in the Access point and i am able to open through the remote desktop.

But only thing is i am failed to open through the open in server from Qlikview desktop. I have the access to the shared folder and i am able to connect to that folder also, but when i tried to open any file from that folder, it was getting an error.

Suggest to rename the shared file (so you will not loose your bookmarks and shared objects) and try to open the report in the server.

If you open successfully, then this is an indication, that the shared file is corrupt. You may try to repair it with some tools - more successful might be to replace with a backup-version, which is still operative.
