Failed to open

I have created a qvw application now it is not opening dono why

any ideas to recover that file

From the dos prompt try this to open your qvw without data :

     C:\Program Files\QlikView\qv.exe /nodata YourFile.qvw

Please check if there is no other qlikview.exe or service in background running causing the unavailability to access your file

Perhaps if any of our solution didn't work I'm sorry to say that you'll need to rework all your designs. It's a pain but maybe it's the only solution. Can't see another solution for you, sorry Next time make sure you have a backup file while implementing some great changes.

It could be that your document is lost forever.

Are you able to recreate the demo? If so, please take care of making backups of this and other valuable documents on a regular basis. Or let QV Designer make backups for you. See QV->Settings->User Preferences->Save->Use Backup.
