Hello All,
I'm trying to read data from an Excel(csv) file. But, QlikView gives me 'Field Not Found' error.
I have cross checked everything- The field exists in the excel and also the filed name is same.
Can you please share a solution or if someone has faced similar problem before.
Thanks Much!!
Hello All,
Sorry for not responding back.
My bad, i was dealing with many excel files and one of them had a naming error.
Thanks all for the quick suggestions hope it would be of help to someone else in the future.
Have a nice day ahead!!
I usually check to comment out the current script and then bring the script again using Table Files back... this way QlikView can bring the field names that are available with any extra spaces or character we might have missed or removed accidentally. Once you do this, you can keep the new one or compare this new one to the old one to see what is wrong
Specify the field names with spaces in a bracket. ex if the field name is New Job, load it as [New Job] in your script.

Pratyush
As Excel columns permit spaces at column beginning or ending I would use the Wizard load the file, so it can check your columns names
Or replace your LOAD field1, field2, field3... with LOAD * and see what you get in the Table Viewer.
