I am trying to find what ODBC connections each of our documents connects to. Is there a way to do this short of opening all of our documents and looking at them? I have looked in the document log, but it only shows it like below. It takes the name of the connection out of the log. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
ODBC CONNECT*
I am again working on something that needs to find this information. Does anyone have any ideas how I could go about this?
Maybe using this tool http://qlikviewcookbook.com/download/script-log-analyzer/ and searching for CONNECT
Script Log Analyzer looks at logs. which the OP has pointed out removes the actual connect string.
The tool I would recommend that allows you to search raw script is:
Qlikview Cookbook: Script Repository http://qlikviewcookbook.com/recipes/download-info/script-repository/
I believe you can also use the QlikView Governance Dashboard which includes Connect strings as part of the lineage data.
