Get an Email when a new entry in a table has "arrived"

Hello Everybody,

I have an problem where I need some help.

Our users asked to get a notification to receive an email as soon as a new entry has been created in a table.

Example:

We have a table with the columns ID and Name.

ID = Entry

Name = Name of the users.

When creating the report I have 5 users. Thus, 5 IDs.

Now when a new user is added and the chart (table) shows 6 rows an email should be sent out to specified recipients.

Is that possible at all?

You can try with Alerts in the Tools menu of QlikView Desktop, as long as you have a valid email server configured in the QMC.

Or an email notification after the reload if you know that new users have been added after that reload
