Hi everyone,
I have just started a new job where they are using Qlikview. I have never used Qlikview before but have a lot of experience with BI tools. What would you recommend as a good place to start learning how to use / maintain / develop Qlikview?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex,
You can get some free online training here, its a good place to start..
https://qcc.qlik.com/course/view.php?id=279
You can also use the get started page from the Qlik online help and Tutorial

Hi Alex,
You can do the following:
1.Go to C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents and go through all the applications. understand the visualizations, make some selections here and there and you will get the feel of how a report looks like and behaves.
Data visualization app has a lot of different visualizations and gives a understanding of what to use when.
2.Go through youtube videos on QlikView architecture
3. Use QlikView reference manual as a guide to clear your doubts
4. Use dummy data and create your own visualizations
If you could be more specific as to what your role would be then it would be easier to answer your question.
