Google Analytics API and QlikView

I know most of you are responsible for your company's QlikView development, and given our focus on the mid-market, I bet some of you are responsible for some aspect of your company's web presence as well.

The new Google Analytics API released by Google would make an awesome data source to utiliize QlikView for your company's website analytics.

If anyone creates an app or at the very least a data model, please share it with the community!

This would be an issue with Google Analytics rather than QVSource.

Bu have you see in the following in the dimensions drop down of the feed explorer?

Custom Variables

ga:customVarName(n)ga:customVarValue(n)

Hi,

May I know where is the site to download qv source? Currently I am trying to link qlikview to google analytics and I realise I need the qvsource add-on in order to do that.

Hi Chris - I hope you are doing well. I have signed up for QVSource and I haven't received any email since yesterday. I need to work on Google Analytics and Facebook connectors. I understand that you are providing Beta version at the moment and planning to launch in Mid November. We are ready to buy the connectors if we get this working. Any help would be more than awesome.

Hi Chris,

Yes. I have seen those two custom variables. Unfortunately, they do not return any values even if i replace "n" with an integer.

Also, I have tested a different product to query Google Analytics and it seems it can recognized the custom variable names.

Will there be update for QV Source to address this issue?

Sorry but just to clarify, are you saying you cannot find your custom variables in the Google Data Feed Explorer (http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/gdata/gdataExplorer.html)?
