Hi Friends,

Can one of you suggest is it mandatory to use signature in google map url for v3?

Google team says that it is mandatory to use signature with client.

URL Format

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=38.097986,-106.0454515&zoom=2&maptype=&size=200...

- client=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX tells the API you want to use your license

- signature=YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY= tells the API it's actually you trying to use your license

Thanks for your reply.

I understand that there is no key for Google Maps for Business. I read some where we need to build URL with a client id, typically gme-xxx, and a crypto key used to generate a signature.
