HYTD for different fiscal YTD

Hi.

I need help to create HYTD for clients that have different YTD. For example, if the YTD is 10 and the latest month of the app is 2, then I'd have something like

If the latest month of the app is Jan, then the HYTD would be from Oct to Jan. Or Oct to Dez, if Dez would be the latest month.

Is there a way to apply this logic in the script for different YTD months?
