Hi,

* By turning on  Design grid from Design tab you can enable Custom formatting.

*Using Macro you need to select a Value range in order to set multimode.

*Using Macro you can make all the changes based on the requirement we can tell what is possible and what is not possible

*For accessing the macro u need to rite some thing like this in the script:

     LET CreateFolder = CreateFolder();

Createfolder() is the macro what u have created.

But using macro is not the rite option in QV bec it poss lot of issue, try to avoid macro

Hi,

If we get the questions right, do we get the job?

If the person asking the questions has any understanding of QlikView they should realise the limitations of macros in a QlikView environment. In most cases macros are unnecessary and are not recommended by Qlik.

What answers did you give in the interview?

Totally agree Colin.  If I was being asked about Macros in an interview, I would be wondering why.  Perhaps the answer should be absolute disgust at the suggestion to use macros!  Perhaps it was a trick question.

I bet - all these are trick questions or someone other side comes from Excel VBA background and can't detach from their first luv!

I'm just surprised - there are so many threads on Interview Questions and trying to get answers to them.

Cheers,

DV
