Hidden Connection String in the Log File

Does anyone know how to control how the connection string is displayed in the qvw reload log file?

In version 9 SR5 the Databse name, UID and PWD are replaced by '*' astericks...

ODBC CONNECT*UserId*Password*

In previous versions the following was visible in the log...

ODBC CONNECT TO {Database Name} (UserId is {UID}, Password is {PWD})

The same is true if I'm using the desktop client or the server distribution service.
