Hide linear gauge mini chart from Total line

Hi,

I'm using the linear gauge in a straight table.

After selecting No Totals, and using the Dimensionality() function, the gauge is still displayed in the total line.

if( Dimensionality()=1, avg(Income_Variance%),null())

Other gauge types work as expected.

Is there a known issue with this type of mini chart?

Thanks!

Could you post a sample qvw that demonstrates and help us understand the issue better?

Just did.

Thanks!

It seems the issue is with only 'Show Needle' in the Indicator->Mode under guage settings. If you change the Mode to something else it works. I am not sure if it's by-design or know-issue. May be others can share their views here.

Hi Dafnis,

So what's the result is you want? Just don't show the total column like this:

If yes, you just need to also select the No total for Dimensionality expression.

Thanks.

Hi Aiolos,

I need the total for sales though. Even if you remove the Dimensionality() column, the issue still persists.

This happens only with the linear type of gauge.

Thanks..
