How do I display a bookmark name in a text object ?

Hi Everybody,

I want to be able to display the name of the current bookmark selected in a text object. How do I code for this ?

I'm confused !

I've created a macro and linked it to the button. But when I run it nothing seems to happen. Where does it create the test.txt file ? Where am I looking ?

Also, do I create a table box object on the sheet ? And where does this ID come from ? Do I make up any name ? How do they link to the names of my bookmarks ?

I think you are assuming I know how to do all this.

Hi,

There are two actions in a button One to call bookmark bm, another to call bookmark reload.

You will find the text file in the same location as that of your QlikView file.

I have attache a live example, you can open it from some other network or probably from home to see how it works.

I tried the qvw you sent, but no " test.txt" file is created, so also the reload obviously fails
