How do I set the appearance of the bars of a chart ?

Hi All, 

Can someone please tell me how I can format the bars of a bar chart ?

I would like to set the :

a) width of the bars

b) and the gap between the bars

You can change this (slightly) by the controls on the Presentation tab:

Hi Maureen,

Chart Properties->Presentation tab increase the "Bar distance" value.

Try setting the bar distance to 0, cluster distance to 8, turn off thin bars and you could also turn on the dimension axis gridlines and see if it works
