Hi All,
I have a large TSV file (1+GB) to be uploaded to Qlikview.
Now, opening this and converting to csv manually in excel is not possible due to the excel row limitations.
Please advice on how to get this done.
Thanks,
Shyam
In the Table file filter options dialog, select a different separator instead of a comma or semicolon. A Tab character is available too.
Have you tried loading TSV files directly to qlikview script same as CSV file?
Hi Shyam,
Assuming TSV is nothing but a text file ith TAB as delimiter, I did a quick test by creating a .tsv file and loading it in Qlikview. I was able to load the tsv file usign the "Table Files" option in data load editor. Once the document is loaded, Qlikview has identified TAB as the delimiter by default.
So, as per my understanding we need not convert the tsv file to a csv file.
Note: If the tsv file is not visible in existing folder using "Table Files" option, make sure u select "All Files" in the file selection options.
