How to add a line to a report

Just quick question.

How to add a line like below into a report

Not sure what you mean, but may be using Line/Arrow object?

1. First create a line object as above.

2. In the report drag and drop the object in the report layout.

Sorry should clarify further, I mean from the report editor. I have the dashboard done already, but just don't know how to add a line into the static report editor.

Hi,

Let do this:

1. Go to Settings -> User Preferences -> Design -> Tick Always Show Design Menu Items

2. Right click on any cell in pivot object -> Custom Format Cell

3. There You can draw lines.

Dear Elim,

Here is the way to add line,

1). Using (Line/Arrow Object)

Right Click on Sheet > New Sheet Object > Line/Arrow Object > Apply > OK.

2). Using (Text Object)

Right Click on Sheet > New Sheet Object > Text Object > General Tab > Image > Change > Apply > OK.

Hi Elim,

Line/Arrow object will help to you to add horizontal or Vertical lines in QV design environment.

Just add line object in a sheet and select that object then you can can drag that object borders with mouse points help depends on your Convenient size.

Hi,

  You can add line to a report by using Line/Arrow object in sheet properties.

You can also select the line style and color of the line. You can insert a line wherever you want in chart.
