How to apply theme to my dashboard?

Hi All,

I have to apply theme to my dashboard.

Can anyone please advice!

How to import themes from some where and how to apply the themes to my dashboard?

Applying is easy.  On the Layout tab of the Document Properties, there is "Apply Theme" button.  But if you don't have themes there is nothing to apply.  You can create a theme using Theme Maker right there.  Find an application you like, use the maker to create a theme, and after that you can apply it.

How can i make theme.

Can i save any background from google and save it on desktop and prepare theme from qlikview?

You make themes from the existing QV applications.  Theme maker will lead you.

Background - you can take any image from any legal data source, and use it as a background for your application - see Document Properties, tab General, Wallpaper image (on the bottom left).

You can create your own them by using

Document Properties -> Layout -> Theme Maker option and follow the steps

Chart Properties -> Layout -> Theme Maker option and follow the steps

It gives clear picture on how to apply theme. Can you please provide some sample themes or location where themes avaliable. So that i can apply on my dashboard.

Hi Durga,

By default themes will be stored in location C:\Program Files\QlikView\Themes.

You can create your own themes or download  and import it from that location.

Hi Durga,

It looks like you are looking in "C:\Users\..\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView\Themes" path.

Please go do this folder and check whether you have .qvt files in it "C:\Program Files\QlikView\Themes"

it has .qvt files in themes folder but it is not apply to my document when applying theme or theme maker used in my qvw file.

i am wondering where i am missing the steps.
