Hi everyone,
I'm quite new to Qlikview, then hope my explanation is clear.
Time to time we receive alerts due to jobs failed in QMC and we usually restart the job and it works. My question is: is there a way how we can automatically restart the failed jobs? I know, it's not a big deal to restarts the jobs, but sometimes we're not in the office or this happens during the weekend. There should be a script, a tool useful for this purpose, but so far I haven't found anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hello Michelangeio,
You can try with Task execution option -> Number of tries.
This can be found under the document tab> Select the task from the source document -> and then triggers.
Thanks

Hi,
you could create a New task who has a dependent on when Your task fails.
In Triggers-->Configure Trigger-->Start the task, and choose Your task which could fails.
Hi Tom,
I was looking for the Source Document tab but it turned out that it requires the Publisher licence which we don't have it.
Thanks a lot anyway for your answer.
Hi Staffan,
I was explaining to Tom Issac that the triggers in QMC require a Publisher licence and we don't have it unfortunately. We do not see the Source Document tab where you can find the triggers, then we have to keep restarting the tasks manually.
Thanks for your answer.
Yes, you need to have a Publisher Licence to have the source document tab enabled.
Thanks
