I am pulling in a time stamp from a Google spreadsheet (Example 12/22/2014 16:20:18). I am using subfield to get the date to to be 'MM/DD/YYY' and load as DATE
DATE(Subfield(F2,' ',1), 'MM/DD/YYYY') as DATE,
I can use
=DATE((today()), 'MM/DD/YYYY')
to get Today, but
=DATE((today()-1), 'MM/DD/YYYY') or =DATE(today()-1)
will not get Yesterday.
Any ideas
Thanks.
Try this
=Date(Num(today()) -1, 'MM/DD/YYY')
Best,
S
Both your versions
=DATE((today()-1), 'MM/DD/YYYY') or =DATE(today()-1)
work just fine for me...
Some info is missing (?) What does have to do with the Google timestamp?
Hi,
maybe you are looking for the day before the google timestamp:
DayName(Timestamp#(F2,'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss')-1)
should do.
hope this helps
regards
Marco
