How to get new year to load correctly in Qlikview. (Have 2017 data but will not load 2018-Excel File)

I am trying to load an excel file with 2017 data that is currently working. When I add 2018 data the 2018 data appears null in the charts/graphs and does not include 2018 at all in my year selections. Is there a reason as to why it is not picking up 2018 data? I have reloading and checked the excel formatting and it is all the same.
I figured out the issue. I have two separate excel files and one of the excel files did not have 2018 data yet. When I added the 2018 data to both excel files, the 2018 data loaded correctly.
Could you verify if 2018 loaded in your application successfully? Do you have Year listbox with 'Only one selected value' and 2017 selected in that? There could be plenty of reasons which can be uncovered if you can share more info? Also you can verify that all dates are in right date formats.
Hello, yes I have a year list box and only 2017 appears. It looks like the 2018 dates are in the wrong format in Qlikview, they appear as year 1900. But when I check the excel file, the date column is formatted as date. Maybe it is something with my calendar script as well?
