How to sort DD-MM-YYYY field by earliest date order?

Rookie question: How would I sort the field below (image attached) by earliest date order and with null values first. The date format is 'DD-MM-YYYY'.

Edit: Straight Table.

TIA

If the field is really a date you could choose numeric within the sort-options.If not you will need to make at first a date from them by using something like: date(date#(DateField, 'DD/MM/YYYY'), 'DD/MM/YYYY')

What object is this? Straight table or table box? Would you be able to share a sample to look at?

Sorry forgot to say it's a straight table. Unfortunately I can't send a sample as the data is confidential.

Super easy. I thought I'd already tried sorting it via the UI. However, the null values appear on the bottom no matter what order the field is sorted by.

Thanks for your time.
