How to sort column (from dimension) in pivot table?

Hi All - Is it possible to sort column (where data comes in as dimension) in the pivot table? Updating 'Sort' tab in pivot table properties didn't work.

Interactive sort is not possible in Pivot Table..

you have to sort it first according to the first dimension, then according to the next,

MRKachhiaIMP Thanks Manish! However, my first dimension is not displayed in the table as it is a randomly generated arbitrary ids generated by the system. Using Name as a second dimension. How can we sort by Name?

What you can do is: do a fast type change to Straight table. If you want your data to be sorted, just switch, in straight table interactive sorting works. I don't think you can sort interactively, nonetheless you can use the sort tab to sort your dimensions for the desired result.
