Hyperlink in a table

Hi,

I'm new to Qlikview and I was trying to add a dynamic hyper link to a table row, ie..."my.server.com&parm1"= & col1.value, is this possible to do in QlikView Tables?

Thanks,

Hi,

please have a look at the attached example.

Best regards
Stefan

P.S.: Note: the syntax for the formula is as follows (copied from reference manual):

=Name & '<url>' & Link

=Name & '<url>www.qlik.com'

In QlikView 9 there is a new feature for building hyperlinks.

In the diagramms option you can set the "representation" to hyperlink for any formula.

Hope this helps ...

Best regards

Thanks for the reply Stefan!

I was able to get the url to show correctly, however I was not able to make it active? Do I have to do something to get the link to be active? I'm using the Qlikview Personal Edition, could that be the issue?

Thanks.

Hi Stephan,

Can I ask you a question?

Can I have hyperlinks in a table box? In your example you have a char that has hyperlinks.

I have a table box with many fields, one of the field is NAME, I want to make NAME column as a hyperlink with URL = http://servername.com/givedetails.jsp?parmname=<NAME>

How can I achieve this?
