Implementing Annotations and Collaberations in Qlikview

Hi,

I am new to qlikview,I just happened to attend an online recorded training session on annotations and collaberations. But, the session only spoke about the advantages of annotations and collaberations but not its implementation. So can anyone please let me know how annotations and collaberations can implemented in a qlikview application

Both of these features can only be implemented on the server.  In the QMC you will need to go to Documents ->User Documents and select the QVW.  From there enable "Allow Creation of Server Objects".  This will allow the users to create annotations and collaboration objects.

Hi Josh,

Allow Creation of Server Objects is already enabled in the QMC but still,I do not see the option to add annotations and colleberations after opening the application through access point.Could there be anything else that i would have missed?

4. and the tab Server, select Availability Tab

5. Mark Session Collaboration

If you want to enable Session Collaboration, it needs to be done in two places.

1. Globally - System -> Setup -> QlikView Servers -> Documents.  Check "Allow Session Collaboration"

2. On each QVW as described above by Edwin Camilo Figueroa
