Inernet Explorer 9

Hi all

My developement environment is IE 8 under Windows XP.

When publishing to Access Point users who are under Window 7 and IE 9 cannot see a Container Object .

Does anyone else have the same problem? Any remedies for that?

Thanks

Josh

Please clarify what what versions you are using, and if you are running AJAX or IE Plugin.

Server version

Desktop Developer client version

IE plugin version, if this is used to access

My guess would be that they have a previous version of the IE plugin installed.  You will need to bring the IE plugin up to the same version as the Server on each client machine using IE.

We are all on IE Plugin which is the same version of QV (10.0 SR3).

Some of the users have Windows 7 Internet Explorer 9 (some experience difficulties but others do not) while others use Windows 7  Internet Explorer 8 (no difficulties) and Windows XP  Internet Explorer 8 (no difficulties. BTW, 9 is not available for XP)

Curious.  Could some of the users that are not working have had a previous version previously?  Perhaps IE is picking up the wrong version.

Are you sure that all users are using the IE plug-in?  The difference in user experience is not coming from a mix of Ajax and plugin?

I believe the browser version should have little bearing on what the IE plug-in displays - as all rendering is handled by the plug-in rathert han the browser itself.

Yeah. I would say the same.: Curious.

Since I am not a hardware/systems person I will let our IT department take care of that and will post/share their results here when they are available.

Thanks anyways.
