Input Field Question

I know how to declare an input field in the script and how to use it within a pivot chart. What I can't seem to figure out is how set up a calculated expression as an input field that, by default, contains the results of the expression but also lets the user input a value in order to do What-If (other columns use the value in this column/cell). Can this be done?

Hi Brian,

perhaps enclosed demo file helps. The inputfield EndWeight is initialized with IdealWeight but can be altered in the TableBox. In the pivot chart (AFAIK you can't alter the value of an inputfield directly in a (pivot) chart) the expression WeightDifference is calculated as differenc of StartWeight and the inputfield EndWeight. Perhaps that helps a little.

Joachim
