Install extensions in QlickView 11

Dear all,

I am newbie in QlikView and I would like to know how do I install extensions in QlikView 11.  I tried copying the whole extension in Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions and in Documents\Qlik\Examples\Extensions and I cannot see them from WebView mode. How can I properly add extensions in QlikView 11?

you Need to install the Extension into the right Folders.

Hi, may be a silly question but, can we install extensions in different format than .qar? I have been given files in differents formats but no .qar found in the folder.

No, Qlik can capable only for .qar files. Here, it must be there. can you let us know which extension and where you got this

if you have a .qar file just double click it to install the Extension.

This will generate all files needed (.css, .js, .XML, etc.)

You already have this files? no Problem. Just copy this files in the Extension Folder.
