We run apps under QV versions 8.5 and 10. We have initiated a project to convert our environment to 11, but the client install wipes out 8.5 and 10. I need these to remain so we can support the older versions until everything is converted to 11. Anyone know of a way to do this?
You need to start installing version 11, create a folder for the version 11 QV.EXE, then uninstall version 11, then install 10, and then 8.5. I believe that will do the job. I have both 10 and 11 running.
How do I change the install directory? The first screen I receive during install contains "An earlier version of QlikView has been detected. It will be automatically uninstalled during this installation." I cannot proceed with the install until I accept to uninstall the earlier version.
