Inverting the Right Y-Axis

Hi,

I've attempted to search for an answer for this, but was unable to locate anything.

Within a QV Chart (Combo Chart) having both left and right Y-Axis used. The left Y-Axis is for the bar chart, the right Y-Axis is for the line graph. However, instead of it starting at 0 on the right and going up, I'd like 0 to be at the top (preferably 1) and it works it's way down. Is this possible in QV?

Best Regards

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

You need to set the X and Y axis split's and position in Properties window.

Hi,

QV Charts go negative->positive/bottom->top/left->right because this is the standard for charts.

You can certainly have 1 at the top and have bars going down towards 0 (using bar offset). Alternatively, you could have your numbers as negatives and have 0 at the top, but that might not look like you want.

What type of visualisation are you trying to achieve?

Regards,

Stephen

Unfortunately I don't want them to be split.

I've posted a screen shot of what I have, and what I would like.

What I Have:

Hi Amit,

What I'm Looking For:

Notice how on the right Y-Axis it goes from 1 at the top and 4 down, and further. This would because 1 would be "Best" and as it drops it goes down

Sorry, I don't think that will work - both Axes go in the same direction so negatising the values won't work either.

Ahhh. How unfortunate.

SSRS and Excel both support this feature, and I'm migrating from that platform to a QV platform. Something user's will have to accept. 🙂

Thanks for your assistance Stephen.
