Is there a way to condition a chart to show the latest max date data?

Hello,

I have a chart and it monitoring the latest month data how do i set it to pick the latest  month data. Date is in this format "YYYY/MM"

I have 'Data' as my field carrying expression field.

I have 'Date' carrying my Date field

I have 'Station' on my dimension.

So, we plotted station against Data and wanted it to capture the latest date.

Note: Date is not on the dimension

other thing...

if are appling the sum to the field Data you have to type:

Sum({<Date={$(=Max(Date))}>} Data)

I just tried this again now i got 'no data to display' as usual. Didnt work

The suggested answers should work on normal formatted dates.

Please upload a sample of your data - this might make things a bit easier.
