Has anyone try to build a JSON connector or know how to use JSON as a datasource?
Hi,
I did some work on this topic:
http://community.qlik.com/qlikviews/1160
http://community.qlik.com/qlikviews/1168
The first one is "under moderation" for 3 weeks now I don't know why! So I attache this here again.
It is reading JSON from an URL (REST) and converts it to XML which can easily loaded into QlikView:
You can use it with CouchDB for instance:
We are using this for some projects. I can adjust this if you want. Contact me on: ralf.becher@tiq-solutions.de

Ralf,
Looks great! Is there a way to use this outside of this file?
Hi Matt,
you can use this for a lot of use cases. It just needs a few adjustment in the script.
I can give you some advice. Just drop me a line: ralf.becher@tiq-solutions.de
We also provide consulting in this area of data integration...

A JSON connector is on the way. This will work as a proxy to read JSON data from URL or file and stream back as XML where QlikView can read it as web file. I will post it soon here.

Try my JSON script: http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-3129
We will add support fro JSON in the next release of ETL tools QLikView connector
We are already using JSON internally

Here's the first release of the QVSource solution for dealing with general JSON (and indeed XML) APIs:
http://www.qvsource.com/wiki/General-Web-Connector-For-QlikView.ashx
It's available now in the latest nightly build (1.2.4.16) and should be pushed into the next 'official' release assuming it's working out for everyone.
And here is another one: http://tiqview.tumblr.com/post/25925985849/loading-json-data-into-qlikview-via-json-proxy
Hi Ralf,
Is there aint no way to have a glance in hidden script?
Regards,
Bill
