Joining transactional data of 2 Different Products with only Vehicle (TrnsIDCode) as a common field

Dear All,

Pls help,

I have uploaded the transactional data of 2 Different Movements from a single  factory.

1. Raw material (Inbound)

2. Finished Product (Outbound)

I want to analyse the  Vehicles(TrnsIDCode) loading Finished Product  from the factory within 3 Days of bringing Raw Material then a Flag  is required in the script.

Thanks in advance.

IMHO your Finished Data requires [Posting Date] column to identify:

When did the RawMat arrives at the Factory.

Then you may join both tables using [Posting Date] and [TransIDCode] as Key.

Do attached a new Excel file when you have the required column ready.

[Posting Date]= Arrival date or unloading date

Hi,

The data set looks incomplete since it does not implicate anything on Finished Product. It requires at least a column for Date of Finished Product .

what about loading date?

Hi, Thanks for your time,

The [Actual GI date] in Finished  sheet is the Date of removal of the  Finished product.

The [Posting date] in RawMat is also the unloading/Arrival date/removal of Product

There is no relation required between the Raw material  & Finished product as they are not related.

The relation I require between the two is that If  a Raw material Truck carried finished product on its way out within 3 days of [Posting date].

Hope I am able to explain
