Jump to a new sheet from a sheet with the Qlik tabrow unhidden

Hello Experts,

I am newbie to the Qlik world.

I would like to know is there a way to jump to a new sheet using "Activate sheet" action when the tabrow is not hidden, still the subsheet is hidden from the user and not shown in the Tabrow. If there pls help me out in achieving this.

Thanks,

Praveen Prabhu

Howdy Praveensp,

You'll first need to grab the sheetID. Right click the sheet you want to be actived and you'll see a 'SheetID'. Copy that and then go back to the object that is using the 'Activate Sheet' action and put that in input for the action.

This should work when the tabrow is hidden.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,

If the sheet is hidden for the user then the user wont see the sheet even if you link to it using sheetId. You will need to adjust the sheet show condition in such a way that the sheet is visible, if not the user wont be able to access it. (The show condition overrides your navigation)
