How can i Count ID if the NAME start with 'A'.

I try this expression

Count(  if Name = 'A*' , ID )

but it s not working

Count(  if( Wildmatch(Name,'A*') , ID ))

Or

Count(  if( Left(Name,1) = 'A' , ID ))
