Linear_b not on the graph displayed dates..

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with Linear_b and Linear_m functions.

I have the list of months on top of my page.

When I select some months, the board is updated and the linear function is calculate according to the data on the board.

But when I open the qlik report, no month is selected. So if my board has data until december 2017 and we are in february 2018, it seems that the linear function is calculated with the last months, altough when I display the tendancy on the board it is ok.

I don't know how to resolve that problem ?

You can apply set analysis to linest expressions or limit the values of the dimensions you display (so it does not display February if there is no data), so you could filter a specific number of months, otherwise the expression will apply to all the months available in the data model, even if there is no data for them.

Also, you could refine the calendar to only load periods with data.

Hi Miguel, thanks.

I already apply a set analysis that seems fine. The problem does not seems to be on the paramaters but on the tendancy that takes some newest months that don't appear in the board with 0 as value.

I cannot reducte the calendar load as it is used for multiple other board on the same page.
