I made an example (qvw in attachment)
The idea is to see how many times a trashcontainer was emptied (emptyings_id)
with the city (project_name) or a part from a city (project_level_name) as dimension.
The fraction is the kind of trashcontainer.
Everything is working just fine, with correct numbers.
Until you select a project or projectlevel, then he does not make the seperation between the fractions.
(emptyings 3 in the qvw file)
I hope someone can help me!
Kind regards,
Katleen
I've opened your document, and I'm not understanding what doesn't work. For example, I selected 'project_name' = 'Aalburg' and emptyings 3 looks correct. What is wrong with it?
When you look to the emptyings3 table
The total is not the total
'project_name' = 'Aalburg'
- 56
GFT 45401
REST 45401
Total 45457
The '45401' should be either with GFT or REST
It is a dimension that are the different kinds of trashcontainers.
The total is correct, but the 45401 should only be filled in once.
This is because you are doing a count of distinct 'emptyings' . I'm attaching a document here. For take for example if you select 'project_name' = 'Aalburg' and 'emptyings_id' = 23899. There is 1 record in fraction_name of GFT, and 1 record in fraction_name of 'REST'. So in your emptyings 3 table, you see GFT = 1, and REST = 1, and the total is 1. The total is 1 because there is only 1 distinct emptyingsid, 23899. Hope this helps with why you are seeing these amounts, good luck!
I get what you are saying and you are right.
And that is exactly my problem, why doesn't it make the distinction between the fractions (GFT, REST,..)
It should make a distiction because the link to it exists.
