Master Calendar Link not working for Sales Date

Hi All,

Sales dates are not properly linking with the Master calendar.

In the QVW you can see Sale_Date(Sales tab in the script).

It is linked to master calendar through SalesLink.

SalesLink is joined to Unit_Link in Link Table.

When i select date from Master Calendar, Sale_Date is not filtering based on Date from Master Calendar.

Please help me with the issue.

Hi,

Can you explain what you are trying to do?  What is not working?  When I am selecting Sale_Date data is filtering and Post_dates are also filtering.

Regards,

Jagan.

Hi Jagan,

But its not filtering properly. As you can see the dates are not matching.

It is matching with the Pay_Date but not with the Sale_Date

HI Keerthi,

Are you expecting the same value in all the fields Pay_Date, Sale_Date and Posting_Date.  Can you come up with an example?

Jagan.

If i select Date in the Master Calendar, those dates has to be matched with the Sale_Date.

If you select any date from the Date or Posting Date, Pay_date also filters based on that date. Whereas Sale_Date shows some other dates.

Year is selected from the Master Calendar. Sale_date will not be filtered based on Year.

I strongly recommend that you read this article and follow the suggestions for how to handle multiple dates:\

Canonical Date
