May i know how to recode value label from 1 to G1 ?

Hi All

I have a field = GP_TYPE_ from Mapping :-

ApplyMap('MapGroupType',@43:48T,@307:314T) AS GP_TYPE_,

Which have value label from 1 to 16

i Need to recode
1 to G1
2 to G2
3 to G3
4 to G4
...
...
16 to G16

Just put a G in front.

Hope some one can share with me.
