Hi All,
Do QlikTech plan to release a migration tool from QlikView to QlikSense?
For example a program that save the QVW as XML (like in the -prj folders) then recreate the application in QVF, getting the script (that should work as it can already be migrate), but most important, that also recreate the front (all tables and graphs and filters...).
Best Regards
Stephane
Hi
At the moment you can convert QlikView (.qvw) to Qlik Sense (.qvf).
This does not include front end, Only backed will be converted.
You may move this to QlikSense forum to get more thought from Qlik.

hi,
how i can convert it? simply rename file .qvw to .qvf?
many thanks
Mauro
Hi,
to get your qvw into QlikSense, open QlikSense and import your qvw. It will be automatically imported and save as a .qvf.
it will fetch only the script and the model, not the GUI
best regards
chris
I know that this is quite an old post but in case anyone is searching for QlikView to QlikSense migration, have a look at this blog which references the new tool 'QlikView Convertor' which enables you to move/convert QlikView apps into QlikSense:
