Hi All
I cannot understand why my cents are being rounded to .00
When i select Number, 2 Decimals a figure will show (for instance) 123.50. But as soon as i make it Money, it shows as 124.00
This is the formula in the chart is this:
R # ##0.00;R-# ##0.00
Can anyone please advise what i am doing wrong?
It is because it has a comma still as a seperator. Change comma to dot and it will work.

Hi,
Are you selecting "Number" or "Fixed to" on the Number tab? "Number" will set the value to a precision of 2 and not 2x decimal places which is set by "Fixed to".
In either case can you not use the "Money" setting?

It looks like it is working correctly for Euro.
What is your windows settings?
Please check attached file.
I want to use money, but it rounds to xxx.00.
Just for testing i used fixed 2 decimal, and then it is the right amount.
But i want it to be money, yes
Hi there. Your sample works on my machine. And my number settings are the same.
..So i don't understand what could be different in my model?
you need to post a sample application.
I need to head out now, but i will see if i can make 1 tomorrow and upload
I see what is happening now. The Money format has to have a comma in for the thousands. So in your load script or formula, change it to ...
R #,##0.00;R-#,##0.00
... and it should work when you choose Money in number properties (you might need to click System or set the format yourself so the comma appears).
I don't know if this is a bug or not, or working by design, as we use commas all the time for thousand separator in the UK.

Please see attached an example of my issue.
My system settings is the same as the QV settings.
