Mouseover effect over "image" to call another one

Hello Guys!

I'm developing an image menu to my application using text fields as images. The problem is that I have to click on the image to call menu, but instead of this i would like to use the mouse over effect to trigger the menu. I would use this to also call submenus in the application.

Note: The intention is not call hint functionality to specify labels.

I'd rather not to use extensions. But it would fits in the last case scenario!
