Multiple Selections Same Page

Hi All,

In power BI, I can show data and charts side by side for this year and last year. Basically, all I have to do is edit how each chart responds to a filter. Does QlikView support such feature? I know of set analysis, but I want my users to have the flexibility to choose which 2 years to compare.

You have two options:

  • Allow the user to select a range of dates and compare the min date with the max date
  • Use alternate states to select two months independently

The second option can confuse users and you need to decide how all other selections will be handled. You will also need a separate date list box to select the other date.

Yes, by using alternate state you can able to achieve this.
