Hi Experts,
I am new in QlikView and I have had a problem Since yesterday .
Every time i open the QVW , it automatically closes after a few seconds. Before there was no problem using the file.
I use QlikView Personal Edition version 12.
Please get me the solutions
Thanks and regards
Mina, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that is not a valid license key at this point, it does not have a product level feature in it and given what I do see, it would appear to be a QlikiView Server license, which is not going to work for your Desktop Client as far as license goes. You will need to get up with your Partner/Account Manager to discuss things at this point, as they will need to be the ones to get this straightened out for you. The License Enabler File (LEF) should have a ProductLevel statement in it with a value of 1, 2 or 3 in order for it to work with the Desktop Client, the only other option would be to clear the license in the Desktop Client and lease a license from your Named User CAL on the QilkView Server if you guys have one and the QVS license allows leasing.
Regards,
Brett
Hi Brett,
Thanks for the reply.
I reinstalled the Qlikview desktop and the issue was resolved with the new license.
Did you try restarting your PC?

You cannot set Qlikview to reload while it is closed. You need to do this from outside of qlikview.
Qlikview doesn't do anything when it is closed. As no programm can actually do something when it is not running.
Mina, the only thing I have that may work is to try 'resetting' your Settings.ini file. This is located in the following path: C:\Users\YourUserProfileName\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView. You can simply rename the one that is there, when you open the client again, it will create a new one, then see if you are able to open the file successfully.
The only other thing of which I can think is an OnOpen document trigger that is running an action/macro that is closing things on you, but I do not know why this would have suddenly happened etc., so I am doubtful that is the issue. Best I have for the moment, shout back if you get further info, or if you did figure things out, let us know what it was if you know, or at least the steps you took to where it stopped.
Regards,
Brett
Hi , Yes .I restarted my Pc also reinstalled my Qlik but nothing changed.
it closes automatically, as soon as I open a file.
I take a picture from 'A bout Qlikview'
Can you try opening other qvws?
No.I can't open any QlikView files , except for files that I create in my own system.
one month ago it was ok and I could open any qwvs .
Is it because of license expired?
